Complete 180

Short blog today, although they are never short. Anyway, I need to watch a TV show before bed and go to sleep at a decent hour.

Today was a good day. I honestly can't handle my range of emotions every day. I don't understand myself.

Anyway, I went into the city because I had a free day and met up with Paige and two of her friends. One named Lisa (German), who I've met a few times and she is really sweet. And then a new girl, who is British. So many cultures. I met them at Grand Palais to see the going ons of a fashion show inside. We saw models and photographers outside and all the hustle and bustle, so that was cool.

I then went to Jérôme's because he was home since he worked a night shift this morning. I had a long talk about yesterday and felt better after discussing with him. I don't know how the heck I'd be dealing if I didn't have him here. It helps immensely to have someone here who loves me, and I know will always help when (not if) I need it. So if you are reading this... thank you for all the support you've given me, f.b.!

When I got home, I did a shit ton of laundry, which will dry over night and hopefully be waiting to be ironed tomorrow. I then picked up the kids, and asked the dad what I could do for dinner. He told me it was a good idea to ask (get a head start). We had left-overs, so I only prepared cauli-flower. Dinner was good as usual. Pumpkin soup, elbow macaroni with spaghetti sauce, a little bread with Mont d'Or cheese, and then a soft kiwi.

OMG I just pressed back space and the webpage went back, and I lost EVERYTHING. But luckily, I pressed the fwd button and the text was still here. I usually write on Word, lesson learned.

I spoke to the girl a bit today in French, and she was totes impressed with my skillz. Everyone always says I am good at French; I mean when you try with a native speaker, they always say you're good, and they mean it. But the girl is straight up and says I am bad, so this was a real compliment from her. She said and you just kept going on and on pronouncing everything right! She didn't use those exact words, but that is what she meant.
