Busy Busy Bee

Wednesday. Longest day of the week for an au pair. No school for kids. Well the boy, in middle school, has it in the mornings, so I still have to wake up at the indecent hour of 6:30am.

But I when I came home, I watched some of The Challenge and fell asleep until 10:15am. I told myself I wouldn’t sleep for so long, but I did. Because I had beaucoup shiz to do today. So I groggily got up, ate some cereal, and forced myself to run, which I am totes happy I did. I miss running 4 days a week!!! It is sad; I just don’t have time anymore. After running, I showered. And then started to iron the most laundry at one time I have ever done; I really let the laundry pile up this time. Not doing that to myself again.

During ironing, I asked if I could help with lunch, but the dad had it under control, so I thankfully got to finish ironing along with coordinating unexpectedly washing the boys sheets bc he wet the bed. Poor kid.

Then picked up the boy and had crunch time eating lunch (SO GOOD- chicken and potatoes, but this sauce had the most awesome flavors), get to guitar practice, then go home and get girl for Pony Club, buy milk and a WHOLE chicken (head and organs and all) at the cremerie, go home, then pick her up. It’s such a time crunch to make sure everything is on time!

Then I asked about dinner and I made a pizza with the dad’s guidance. Made the dough and all! The kids LOVED it so props to me! They also had to shower before formation musicale, and I was washing my sheets. I just had a day crammed full of stuff!!! I couldn’t breathe. I like being busy though.

Tonight I spent a lot of time preparing for a 10 minute speech for French class tomorrow about my state. It’s def not 10 mins, but whatever. I am done. I don’t miss homework one bit. This many month break from it did not help tonight at all.

I made an au pair friend online. I know that sounds lame, but we are meeting in the next few days and she lives in my same general area. Far ass away from Paris. I am excited though to make a friend. I am in dire need. She is American too yay!
